Actor

I have been performing since I was knee high. I got my Masters Degree in Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow and then went on to train in acting for theatre, film and television at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

Well versed in the classics, I've also completed the Summer Course at Shakespeare's Globe in London. I can be seen in Outlander in Season 4 as Prudence Forbes and would like it to be known that I am frustrated musical theatre nerd who received vocal training in NYC from Broadway alum and vocal coach Leslie Giammanco. I will happily sing for my supper. You can see my full CV on my Spotlight profile here. In the meantime, got some work for me? Then please...

Producer

I have been a producer in theatre, festivals and live art events for 15+ years - in a freelance capacity and within a bunch of cool organisations. My journey into being an arts producer at a professional level began through a combination of wanting to make my own work my way and a genuine passion for developing talent.

In the early part of my career, I ran an award-winning theatre company that made a diverse range of queer, edgy and comedic Fringe theatre. As a writer I was developed / commissioned / presented at a range of prolific Scottish arts organisations including The Arches, the Tron Theatre, Glasgay! Festival, National Theatre of Scotland and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. You can see a list of those credits here. Here's a 4 Star review in The Skinny Magazine for one of them.

For four years I was was Head of Talent Development for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, where I helped hundreds of artists develop their careers, managed the Made in Scotland showcase and travelled all over the world as an ambassador for the Edinburgh Fringe. I am also the co-founder and producer of Persistent and Nasty; a podcast series and advocacy initiative that seeks to amplify the voices of women and other marginalised groups in theatre and film. During my time living in NYC I co-founded The Blockheads Artist Collective, a small company presenting quirky plays with The Tank Theater in Times Square. I am the Associate Producer for live arts production company Civil Disobedience, the Producer for the Paisley Book Festival and Performance Producer for the OneRen Arts Team. I am currently developing a few cool projects for presentation in 2023 and 2024. More recently I formed a small independent film production company - Bar Italia Films - with my filmmaking partner, director / writer Paul Barrie. We'll be producing our first short film (In The Room) in September 2023.

You can see my full CV here and if you've got a project you'd like to talk to me about, then you know what to do...
