Hello. How are ya? Welcome
I'm an actor, producer, and writer, from Glasgow. I make theatre and film that is provocative, feminist, rebellious and fun. I am very prone to asking the question "but what if this was a musical?"
My turn ons are joyful collaboration, compassionate professional practise and a touch of managed mayhem. I will probably work for a good time and good vibes. (No but seriously, pay artists).
I am also the co-founder and producer of the Persistent and Nasty project. A theatre and film advocacy initiative and Scotland's most popular feminist arts podcast. If you're looking for Nasty News, then head over to the official website for that project.

Gifted
Louise joins the cast of 'Gifted' - an action adventure series for kids aged 7-14, adapted from the children's novels of the same name by Marilyn Kaye. 'Gifted' is a BBC commission being produced by Black Camel Pictures and Media Valley. Louise features in a 4 episode arc as the hilarious and eccentric Fiona 'the crazy cat lady'. Gifted is scheduled for release via BBC / CBBC in October 2025.

Gracie And The Start Of The End Of The World (Again)
Produced by Louise, presented alongside one of Louise's regular collaborator's, Zoë Bullock, who also wrote and performed the show, and directed by Alice Langley, 'Gracie' was the 2024 Assembly Art Award winner and took the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe by storm. Gracie received a galaxy of 4 and 5 star reviews and was shortlisted for the BBC's Popcorn Award and won the Scottish Theatre Awards Bright Spark Award.

Co-founded by Louise Oliver and Paul Barrie, Bar Italia Films is a Glasgow based indie film company that is all about amplifying voices and stories outside of the mainstream. Our debut short film, "In The Room", co-written and produced by Louise, concluded production in March 2024. Supported by Creative Scotland, Blazing Griffin and Crowdfunder UK.
