22 Unique Shows | 89 Performers | 9 Venues | 1740 Audience Members | 6 Sell Outs

I co-founded and directed the Glasgow Cabaret Festival in 2009 with my then artistic/producing partner and it became the first festival in the UK to celebrate cabaret and alternative performance as a legitimate and complex art form.  The festival was a non-profit venture that was very well recieved by both artists and venues.  Venue partners in Glasgow included The Arches, The Tron Theatre, The Cottiers Theatre, The Glasgow Art Club and the Pavillion Theatre.

We programmed some truly incredible artists who have gone on to take over the world; Frisky and Mannish, Piff the Magic Dragon (who now has his own residency in Las Vegas), The Creative Martys, performance artist Drew Taylor, London's Twice Shy Theatre Company, leading cabaret producers Blond Ambition brought us Vive Le Cabaret and Thomas Truax travelled from New York City to be part of the programme.
